Cameron Chisholm & Nicol is an Australian architecture firm with offices in Perth〔( "Candidates line up to build new WA museum" ). ''Western Australian'', Stephen Bevis, June 11, 2015〕 and Brisbane. Established in 1884 In Perth, Australia, the firm operated continuously in the field of design and development in the City of Perth, before the opening of their Brisbane offices in 1986. The two offices also operate collectively under the title CCN Group. In 2015, Cameron Chisholm Nicol has a staff of about 40 people, including five managers. The firm does architectural work in the areas of urban design, education, hospitality, leisure, commercial, retail, multi-residential, sport, and entertainment. CCN's projects include; Woodbridge House, The Reid Library, The National Carillon, Allendale Square and more recently their collaboration with Melbourne-based firm Ashton Raggatt McDougall for the Perth Arena. == History == The firm was established in 1884 in Perth. The first commission of the practice was the design of the Woodbridge House in Guildford. In 1921, Oswald Chisholm was articled to architects Powell and Cameron, and then became a registered architect in 1927. Chisholm then became a firm partner in 1930, and as a result the firm’s name was changed to Powell, Cameron & Chisholm. In the 1950s, Oswald Chisholm’s son Ross began work in the practice, working with Gil Nicol.〔 Ross Chisholm became a partner in the practice in 1958.〔 In 2014, the firm celebrated its 130th Anniversary. In 1986, managing director Henry Peel established an office in Brisbane operating under the name CCN Group (QLD) Pty Ltd. Designs for which it has been commissioned include The Australian Chancery and Ambassadors residence in Brasilia. The company's architects acted as key consultants to the Urban Development Authority in Malaysia. CCN Group has designed projects internationally in China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Iran, Jakarta, Japan, Malaysia and Yemen.
